JAMMU, June 8: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today staged musical play ‘Doli’ with the theme of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Anju Dogra of Health Department and Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer were guests of honour. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said that ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’ is an effective campaign to save the girl child and educate them all over the country.
Musical play ‘Doli’ was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS.
The programme commenced with welcome song presented by artists of BLSKS and lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest and guests of honour.
K.K Joshi, Vice Chairman BLSKS explained aims and objectives of the programme and highlighted various aspects of the play.
The artists who performed in the play were K.K Joshi, Raju Bajgal, Dhruv Pandit, Kuldeep Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Renu Sumeeta Bhat, Tilak Raj, Ujwal Sharma, Vansh, Rudra, Sakshi Kumari, Azeen Ali, Bhumika Chib, Surinder Verma and Aryan Verma.
