RAJOURI, June 11: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by State president Ganesh Khajuria and Distt president Vinod Sharma, called on Chief Education Officer Rajouri Mohd Ashraf Rather and submitted him a memorandum.

In the memorandum, the JKTF highlighting the burning issues and demands of teaching community, which include transfers of all cadre strictly as per norms of existing policy, DPC of class IV cadre at an earliest, immediate release of the pending salary of Headteachers, submission of files of left out graduate/under graduate for their conversion as Teacher Grade II at an earliest and also submission of files of RETS who have completed 5yrs satisfactory service, adjustment of left out Masters of 2014 list, who are B Ed through distance mode from Jammu university, auction of unserviceable store materials, audit of unsafe buildings and immediate release of one month additional salary for election duty in Municipal/ Panchayat polls.
The CEO listened to the deputation patiently and assured that the demands put forth by the forum were genuine one and would be redressed at an earliest. He also appealed the teaching community to work with utmost sincerity to lift the standard of education
