SRINAGAR, May 9: A boy got drowned in the Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district today.
A police spokesman said that a boy Ikhlaq Ahmad Khan aged seven years son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Puthwari-Kalamabad, Handwara got drowned in a nallah at Puthwari. Efforts were on to fish out the body from the nallah when reports last came in.
