JAMMU, June 14: Defence Accounts Pensioners Welfare Association Jammu celebrated its second Annual Day today with great fervour and enthusiasm at Community Complex of PCDA Jammu Cantt.
D R Negi Indian Defence Accounts Services (IDAS) Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, (PCDA) Northern Command,(NC) Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while the function was presided over by R K Dogra patron of the Association. A cultural and recreational programme was presented by V D Triyal.
In his welcome address Ashwani Trisal, chairman of the Association described the main concept and purpose of formation of the Association and the result of the activities achieved during the last three years.
While speaking on the occasion, R K Dogra and Ashwani Trisal expressed their compliments to the chief guest on behalf of Association for formation of Help Desk in the office for resolving the issues of pensioners promptly. The chief guest also commended the Association for the social service rendered by it for the welfare of pensioners.
On the occasion mementos were presented to all the members of the Association by the chief guest The vote of thanks was delivered by Rajinder Pal, general secretary of the Association. Prominent among organisers D K Sharma and Khem Raj Sharma , Raj Singh Finance Secretary, Y P Sharma, , S K Sharma, Darshan Grover, H R Bahadur and Shashi Sharma all executive members were present on the occasion.
