JAMMU, June 14: The dead body of a man was found hanging today in Gandhi Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Bhim Singh (52) son of Jabbar Singh, resident of Nai Basti. He said the body was found hanging this afternoon at his residence.
“After getting conducted postmortem, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Gandhi Nagar to ascertain the reasons of the death.
