Shiv Sena stages protest, demands call back of Governor

JAMMU, June 15: Activists of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray today staged a protest demonstration at Disco Chowk, Bari Brahmana against the alleged soft attitude adopted by the Governor towards Hurriyat leaders.
The protest was held under the leadership of Shiv Sena State President, Dimpy Kohli and General Secretary, Manish Sahni wherein the protesters raised slogans to call back the Governor.
The protesters alleged that the Governor has no time to meet Hindu organizations but he offers an open invitation to the Hurriyat for meetings.
Speaking on the occasion, Dimpy Kohli appealed to PM Modi to clarify stand on scrapping of Articles 370 and 35-A and immediately call back the Governor.
Raj Singh, Meenakshi Chhibber, Surjit Singh Chib, Vikas Bakshi, Raju Salaria, Pavan Singh, Sanjeev Sudan, Ganesh Lal, Mangu Ram and others were also present among the protestors.
