Randhawa listens grievances of people

JAMMU, June 15: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today conducted extensive tour to Ajit Nagar and Upper Gadigarh area of Gandhi Nagar constituency along with S.Yudhvir Singh, Corporator.
During his tour of the area Randhawa met series of delegations and they raised the problems being faced by them. Many of them raised issues of public concern and said that both the areas lack basic amenities despite part of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment. They raised the issue of drinking water supply and worst power infrastructure besides dilapidated condition of roads, lanes and drains.
The locals said that due to low capacity transformers in the area the people are suffering a lot in such a high temperature and demanded installation of more transformers in the area so that people may get sigh of relief.
Randhawa after hearing the demands of the people sanctioned a transformer along with required number of poles for the installation in the locality. While addressing the locals Randhawa came down heavily on the Congress for ignoring these localities. He said that Congress always ignore many hamlets for vote bank politics.
He said that BJP is committed to deliver development at the doorsteps of the people and would carry forward the slogan of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi-‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’. He assured the people to fulfil all their demands with the shortest possible time as per the priority.
Randhawa further assured the people that Gandhi Nagar would be developed as a ‘Model Constituency’ in the State. He assured the people that more developmental works on the demand of people would be started soon in the area for their welfare.
He asked the people to contact him directly without hesitation in case any problem and apprise him about the other issues of public interest.
Those who accompanied MLC include Paras Ram, Paramjit Singh, J.S Gill, Rasvir Singh, Bharat Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Bachan Singh, Pritam Singh, Jasbir Singh, Charanjeet Singh and others.
