JAMMU, June 16: In the elections of Mini Bus Union of Amphalla to Sunjwan Route here today Sharief Hussain Malik has been elected as the Union president for three years.
A handout of All Narwal Channi Himmat Mini Bus Operators Union stated that out of a total of 31 votes, Malik got 18 while his rival candidate Waris Ali got 13 votes thereby Malik won by five votes.
The election was held under the chairmanship of Chamail Singh, Chairman All Channi Narwal Sunjwan Bathindi Route Mini Bus Union.
Razak Choudhary, President All Narwal Channi Route Mini Buses; Shobat Ali, Councillor; Rashid Malik, PDP leader; Vimal Sharma, Jatinder Khajuria, Majid Ali, Manjoor Hussain, Noor Mohd and others were also present on the occasion.
