RAJOURI, Feb 27: Terming present regime of the State as dangerous for democracy, BJP State vice president, Vibodh Gupta said that on one hand separatists have been given Z++ security while elected Sarpanchs and Panchs are being killed and Government has failed to take steps for their safety and security.
In a statement issued here today BJP State secretary Vibodh Gupta said that the scenario of the State is turning grim as the Government seemed to be pro-separatist who are being given sufficient security and nothing is being done for the safety of elected sarpanchs. Those who abuse India are being protected and those who have taken oath of office under Constitution are getting killed day by day and the Government is mute spectator to the same. He termed this Government dangerous for the integrity of the country.
Gupta said that the double standards of Congress and NC are also dangerous for the state. While Congress has publicly opposed the handing over of Afzal Guru’s body to his family, the NC is publicly demanding that his body be handed over to his family.
