ReT deputation meets DSEJ, Principal SIE for projecting issues of cadre

JAMMU, June 22: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum, led by State president Vinod Sharma and State Chief Coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria called on Director School Education Jammu Anuradha Gupta in her office chamber regarding the issues of ReT cadre.
While interacting with the Director, Vinod Sharma highlighted the grievances of the cadre which include ; Resolution of issue of undergraduate teachers by removing the bar of graduation so that they may be converted to Teachers Grade II ; speeding up of regularization process of ReTs who have completed 5 years satisfactory period; issuance of pending Grade II order of teachers who have acquired qualification from out of State universities; issuance of Grade II orders in favour of teachers who have been acquitted by court and time bound promotions in favour of teachers of Kathua which are pending due to non drawl of salary of these teachers for the month of February 2018 .
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and said that the issue of Undergraduate teachers is under the active considerations of the Government and will be resolved soon. She also assured to issue regularization orders very soon as the process of regularisation is under process and also said that Grade II orders of left out graduates will be issued at the earliest. She also telephoned CEO Kathua and directed him to issue time bound promotions in favour of the teachers whose salary of February 2018 is pending due to non availability of funds as there is no fault of these teachers.
Later the deputation also met with Joint Director (Principal SIE) J K Sudan, who is the head of the committee for regularization and appealed him to speed up the process of regularisation as the teachers are suffering badly.
Sudan assured that the regularization process is going on smoothly and soon the list of the same will be issued.
The deputation comprised of Rakesh Singh (District president Kathua), Pawan Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Vipan Sharma, Sanjay Kumar and others.
