JAMMU, Feb 28: A meeting of Gujjar Bakerwal Islahi Committee J&K was held here today under the chairmanship of Ch. Akhtar Hussian its general secretary in which the attitude of the State Government towards the SC/ST and OBC community was criticized.
The meeting alleged that the Government has failed to provide 10 percent quota to OBC, SC and ST community in the private school as well as in the Government schools and colleges.
The meeting accused the Government of not implementing the Apex Court directives in this regard and the candidates of these communities are debarred from admission on one pretext or the other.
