JKP donates medical instruments, furniture items to Sahyog India

JAMMU, Feb 28: As a goodwill gesture, 10th Battalion of Indian Reserve Police today donated several medical instruments and furniture items to the inmates of Sahyog India.
These items were handed over by Commandant of the battalion, Vijay Singh Sambyal, during a function, organised at Training and Teaching Centre of Sahyog India at Tinda Kallan, R S Pura.
Sister Crista Dreg from Germany, Dr D K Kapoor and Dr Ashwini Jojra (founder president of Sahyog India) and two Ph D Scholars from Jammu University were present on the occasion.
The donated items, included CP Chair for Cerebral Palsy Children, Shoulder Ladder, Balance Board, Muscular Stimulator, Quadriceps Exercise Chair, Multi Purpose Table, Chairs for therapists, dining table, plastic chairs without handle etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Singh Sambyal described the service done by the teachers, staff and others towards these differently abled children as most noble cause one can perform for the service of mankind on earth.
Children from the special school also presented a heart touching cultural item on the occasion.
