POONCH, June 24: The police arrested a drugs smuggler and recovered some quantity contraband stuff from his possession in Mendhar area.
Official sources said that while carrying forward the special drive, on the directions of SSP Poonch, Angral Gursai police during routine patrol found two young boys coming from Gursai towards Nima on foot under suspicious circumstances. The police stopped them and on frisking recovered 14 gms heroine like substance. They were identified as Mohd Fareed , son of Ghulam Abbas and Mohd Fareed residents of Gursai.
One Mohd Fareed , son of Ghulam Abbas pushed the Police jawan and fled the spot yesterday. He was nabbed by police today. In this connection a case FIR No 43/19 u/s 8,21,22,29 NDPS Act registered and investigation started.
