RAJOURI, June 24: Two motorcycle-borne unidentified youth today looted nearly Rs 5 lakh from an employee of a petrol pump in Nowshera tehsil.
“The incident took place this evening when one Brijesh Kumar, an employee of Friends Petrol Pump, Nowshera Rajal, was on way to bank from Rajal link road for depositing Rs 4.80 lakhs of daily sale of pump,” police further said.
According to police, the accused threw chilli powder in his eyes, looted the cash and fled away.
“Major manhunt was launched to nab the accused while a case has been registered and investigation started,” police added.
