RAJOURI, June 28: The dead body of a minor girl was found hanging from the branch of a tree, near her house at Sain Samad village this afternoon.
The police identified the deceased as 17-year-old Shazia Kouser, daughter of Lal Hussain, resident of Sain Samad near Rajouri. The family members noticed her body hanging and informed police. The locals of the area also gathered there.
The police party from Rajouri shifted the body to District Hospital for postmortem. Later, it handed over to the family for last rites. A case was registered in this connection. The police said it was difficult to say anything on the issue. Moreover, investigation has been started.
