The State Govt has finally accepted the recommendations made by Justice Verma Committee on crimes against women. Every citizen of civil society has welcomed these recommendations but this esteemed commission favours “Examplary Punishment.” or “Death Penality” in the rarest of the rare cases.
The barberous elements in the society who commit sexual assault on innocent fair sex followed by agonizing death as the latest heinous crime of “Damini” that took the country by storm must be award examplary punishments so that it shall serve a moral lesson for such ruffians so that sexaul assault plus painful murder shall not recur in future.
To conclude the Examplary Punishment or ‘Death Penality’ should be there, but not as a common punishment to create horror among the nefarious elements to be at bay from committing such heinous crimes.
