JAMMU, June 29: A man died today due to suspected cardiac arrest in Nagrota area on city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Devinder Kumar (29) son of Satyavir Singh, resident of Rajasthan (at present Nagrota). He said that the deceased used to work in a canteen in an Army establishment at Nagrota.
“Devinder fell unconscious this evening outside the canteen after complaint of chest pain. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors,” the official said, adding inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated at police station Nagrota and the body was handed over to the Army authorities after medico-legal formalities.
