JAMMU, June 30: Dr Rohit Lahori, Incharge of Pain and Palliative Care at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, delivered a lecture, and attended a panel discussion on the latest updates on the management of cancer pains and it’s scenario in India at PAINCON in New Delhi.
Dr Lahori was invited as faculty in this two-day conference which concluded today. The conference was organized by Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi.
During the conference, Dr Lahori taught Ultrasound guided interventional pain procedures to the delegates and young doctors, who were interested in Palliative Care and Pain Management. He briefed the conference regarding the implementation of National Palliative Care Program in Jammu division.
Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar is the first hospital in J&K to start its services in Palliative Care and Pain Management.
