JAMMU, July 2: The State Government has directed that recruitment of any post in the School Education Department (SED) should be done only with prior approval of the General Administration Department.
According to a circular in this regard, any fresh recruitment/referral of vacancies for selection by any agency under any category of the posts, teaching or non-teaching, will be done only with the concurrence of GAD till further instructions.
Restriction in this regard has been imposed in view of the ongoing process of appointment of ReT/SSA teachers as Teacher Grade-II, decided by the State Administrative Council vide decision number 166/22/2018, dated 07-12-2018.
Since the process of appointment of ReT/SSA teachers as Teacher Grade-II is still going on and will take some time to complete and as the final vacancy position will be known only after completion of the exercise envisaged in the SAC decision of December 12, 2018, no fresh recruitment will be done by the School Education Department, explains the circular number 37-GAD of 2019, dated 01-07-2019.
