REASI, July 5: An elderly man shot himself to death by using .12 bore gun at his residence at village Mari in district Reasi today.
A police spokesman said that 62-year-old Santosh Kumar, son of Dhani Ram, resident of Mari village near Reasi, shot himself in his house under mysterious circumstances. The family members heard the sound of gun fire and rushed towards him.
With bullet injury, he was rushed to District Hospital, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
