JAMMU, July 7: French Club in association with Team Jammu felicitated entrepreneurs and personalities of Jammu for their works.
Former Minister and BJP leader, Sham Lal Sharma was chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said that youth of Jammu possess enormous talent which requires exposure across the country.
He further said that we should not forget our culture as well as Dogri language and exhorted that we should make efforts to promote our culture and make use of Dogri language in daily conversation.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman Team Jammu, who was the guest of honour on the occasion said, the young entrepreneurs have not only sustained themselves independently but have also created employment opportunities others too.
“It is happy is to see the way French Club is encouraging these entrepreneurs by felicitating them,” he said, adding that the felicitated youth have created a niche and unique identity in Jammu despite various challenges.
He urged upon the prominent persons who have been felicitated on the occasion to advice the youth to whom they come across to not to indulge in drug addiction as it affects one economically and physically.
Sham Lal Sharma congratulated the entrepreneurs Pankhuri Aggarwal (PanKhoj), Sakshi Beri (Caliberi), Urvashi Kapoor (Crafty Fever), Satvik Badyal (Bodytech Fitness Club), Pranav Gupta (Vab Constructions), Aashima Mahajan (Double Decker), Priya Raina (Cuts N Curves Gym & Spa) and Vijay Singh (Vj Dance Academy) for starting new venture.
Personalities of Jammu who were felicitated by the chief guest were Iqbal Singh (Power Lifting Coach), J.R Sharma (Jackson) of International Dance Performer, Meera Tapasvi, Theatre Artist, Srishti Kaul, Orator, Nishtha Mahjajan, Content Writer, Sahaj Sabharwal, Budding Poet, Katyayni Gupta, Sportsperson and Daivik Gupta, Budding Poet.
The Club also felicitated four International players of Jammu-Sardarni Neete Kaur (|International Gold Medallist in Power Lifting), Monica Gupta (International Fitness Model/Expert), Mitali Gupta (International Gymnast) and Palvi Sharma (International Karate Player).
The programme was held under the supervision of Arun Sharma, President and Founder of French Club.
Senior members of French Club present on the occasion were Sakshi Gupta, Tapas Tandon, Ujwal Singh Rathore, Arjun Sharma, Kamal Jandiyal and Deepika.
