JAMMU, July 8: A villager was injured in Pakistani firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district today.
Reports said Pakistan army violated ceasefire and opened firing on forward posts and civilian areas on the LoC in Kalsian area of Rajouri district. The Indian side retaliated effectively, leading to exchanges.
A civilian identified as R Saroop was injured in the firing. He was evacuated from the spot and admitted to the hospital. Condition of the injured was stated to be stable.
On Saturday, two Army personnel were injured in Pakistani firing in the district’s Romali Dhara area of Nowshera sector.
