JIAR organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, Mar 2: A free medical camp was organized by the experts from Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Nardni, Jammu at village Raipur today.
The specialists of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research from various specialties attended the camp. The camp was organized under the supervision of Dr.Atal Bihari Trivedi, Deputy Medical Superintendent, JIAR Hospital and Dr. Yogendera Paul Gupta, Ex. District Medical Officer, AYUSH Department.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. R.L.Sharma, Chairman of Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education and Research and Bhupinder Singh, Sarpanch of Raipur was the chief guest. More than 66 patients were treated and given free medicines. The patients were treated by Dr. N.N.Tiwari, Kayachikitisa (Medicines); Dr.Sudesh Gupta, Shalya Tantra (Surgery); Dr. Nikhil, Dr.Ritu Narang; Dr.Pooja; Dr. Abhilasha and Paramedical staff.
This is first of the camp in the series being proposed by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research for adaptation of village for providing health medical care. Besides this, an orientation was also provided to the patients for healthy way of living and preventive measures to be taken to avoid diseases of different types.
