TIRUMALA: President Ram Nath Kovind along with his spouse Savita Kovind offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara here on Sunday.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor ESL Narsimhan and his wife Vimala Narasimhan accompanied them into the sanctum sanctorum.
They were presented Theertha Prasadams along with a laminated portrait of Lord by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials in Ranganayakula Mandapam after Vedic scholars rendered ‘Veda Ashirvachanam’.
Earlier, following the temple traditions, the President couple and Governor couple had a darshan of Lord Varahaswamy , located adjacent to the holy Pushkarini here.
