Annual Pingla Mata Yatra concludes

UDHAMPUR, July 16: One day annual Pingla Mata yatra shrine pilgrimage concluded with fervor and gaiety here, today.
The yatra was organized by Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Pingla Mata Udhampur on first day of holy month of Savan. The Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Udhampur took the sacred Akhand Joyti which was lit on July 14, along with Trident to Cave Shrine in the morning with traditional fervor and gaiety.
The yatra was flagged off by Ex Minister of State, Pawan Kumar Gupta which was received at village Kahua the base camp of shine by chairperson, Dogra Swabiman Sangathan, Ch. Lal Singh and Ex MLA Ramnagar R. S Pathainia. Ch. Lal Singh also accompanied the sacred Akhand Jyoti on foot about 5km and paid obeisance at the cave shrine.
While assuring full cooperation for the successful culmination of Yatra, the dignitaries lauded the efforts of Sanstha for organizing pilgrimage which would help to promote the shrine as a pilgrim tourism spot.
A large number of devotees from different areas of State have paid their obeisance at the sacred shrine of Pingla Mata to seek the blessings of Bhagwati, situated on a hill top at village Pinger in Tehsil Ramnagar of district Udhampur. Lot of enthusiasm and high spirits were visible on the faces of devotees who were constantly chanting hymes in praise of Pingla Mata.
Free langar and light refreshments were also organised by the Sanstha and local people at different locations enroute cave shrine.
According to president Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Udhampur, Ashok Pinglia, the Akhand Jyoti was accompanied by over 15,000 devotees. He said that free bus services were also arranged for the devotees from Udhampur to Village Kahua the base camp of the cave shrine besides a free langar was also organised at the shrine and enroute.
Among other, Sapranch, Panchayat Pinger, Mulkh Raj, Vice president, Mahilla Wing, B. K Saralla, general secretary, Pooja Gupta, Ankush Gupts, Members of the Santha and large number of devotee participated in the yatra.
