RAJOURI, July 26: The Forest Department staff assisted by Forest Protection Force men today removed encroachments and retrieved about 30 kanal forest land in Doongi block of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that on the directions of Conservator of Forests, West Circle B Mohan Dass, the team led by DFO Rajouri Sanjay Gupta assisted by Range officer Manoj Puri launched drive in Doongi area and cleared nearly 30 kanal of land in Compartment No. 27/R . The staff also demolished seven illegal structures.
