JAMMU, July 26: Special Operation Group (SOG) Jammu in an operation with Greater Kailash Police arrested two brothers along with large quantity of banned syrup bottles.
As per police sources, on reliable information, the sleuths of SOG Jammu led by SI Javed Kateria and Police Post Greater Kailash SI Ranjeet Singh under the supervision of SP Operations Sandeep Mehta and SHO Police Station Gangyal Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK22B-1405.
During checking, the sleuths recovered 1160 bottles of banned syrup bottles were recovered from the truck and arrested the driver along with his associate.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Iqbal (driver) and Mohammad Ashraf, both sons of Assadullah, resident of Kachidora District Shopian.
A case under FIR Number 76/19 under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
