JAMMU, July 27: With an objective to put the students’ interest first, provide proper guidance and make them future ready, KC Public School, Jammu collaborated with Univariety, which is India’s foremost Counselling, Guidance and College Planning Platform.
The four days Univariety Career Guidance Launch Festival was aimed at generating awareness among students regarding the multitude of professional prospects available in today’s progressive world. Univariety brings to the students and parents, the most comprehensive career guidance programme in India.
Univariety is trusted in over 300 schools and has helped over one lakh students. The school has partnered with them for setting up of Alumni Management and Guidance System which will benefit about 750 students of KCPS falling in grades from 9 to 12.
The various highlights of the programme are Individual student and parent access, Research Tools; Information on 100+ careers and over 12000 colleges across the world, Psychometric Tests, One click counsellor on chat, Alumni Guidance and Analytics based insights from over 1,00,000 students success stories available for students as well as parents.
The domain experts from School Engagement team of Univariety, Mehak Arora and Anish Matto assisted by the IT faculty of KC Public School, Suniya, Shuchi and Neha Badyal conducted 4-day long assessment activity for all the registered students.
The launch festival included student orientation for grade 9th to 12th; profile completion of all the students; Psychometric assessment; staff orientation and finally the session culminated with parents orientation.
The programme was well coordinated and executed by the Senior School Counsellor and Coordinator for Univariety, Jaya Somal Chowdhary assisted by Neha Singh, Roma and Mohit Uppal.
High level of enthusiasm was visible amongst the students and especially parents towards this launch event.
Amarendra Kumar Mishra, Principal of the school expressed his gratitude to the entire team of Univareity and appreciated the enthusiasm and willingness of the students.
