SAMBA, July 27: Acting firmly against the drug menace and its propagators in the area, Samba police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 127 Intoxicant Capsules (Parvon Spas) at a Naka Mansar Morh, Samba.
A Police Party of Police Station, Samba headed by Inspector, Shiv Dev Singh, SHO P/S Samba under the supervision of Tilak Raj Bhardwaj, Dy.SP Hqrs. Samba while performing vehicle checking duty at Naka Mansar Morh, near here intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds, who was coming from Daboh side towards Mansar Morh. During his frisking 147 Intoxicant Capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) were recovered from his possession. The accused person who has been identified as Suraj Paul, S/o Balwant Raj R/O Koulpur, Vijaypur was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard, a case FIR Number 155/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Samba and investigation started.
