Kashmiri version of movie ‘Tere Naam’ released

Srinagar, July 27: Kashmiri version blockbuster Bollywood movie Tere Naam was released today here at the Auditorium of Tagore Hall.
The release ceremony was attended by scores of people from different sections of society. The release of the movie is not only being appreciated but is also seen as an attempt to promote Kashmiri language.
The entire scenes in the original movie have been replicated in the Kashmiri version of Tere Naam, which has been directed and produced by Showkeen Khan.
Khan said that he was happy with the release of the movie and was hopeful of its success in coming days.
“I am happy today, it was an attempt to promote Kashmiri language which I think I have executed in a better way,” he said.
The movie, with the entire being local Kashmiris, has been completed in one and a half year. “Executing such things that too in Kashmir are very difficult given the situation we face here, but, as I said, it was an honest attempt, which has been executed,” he said.
