RAJOURI, Aug 1: A kucha house was extensively damaged in a fire incident in Budhal area of district Rajouri today.
Reports said that house of one Gulzar Begum, widow of Mohd Aslam, resident of Gabbar village near Budhal caught fire at around 11.30 am today. The people rushed for the rescue operation and managed to save some belongings. But most of the house hold articles were burnt in fire. Short circuit was said to be the reason behind the incident. The police has taken cognizance.
Today on a specific information, police party from PS Dessa and officials of Spp laid a surprise naka at Motala, Batta and intercepted two bovine smugglers namely Mohd. Rafiq S/o Salamdin and Mohd.hussain S/o Gidaboo Gujjar both residents of Laloor Teh. Kastigarh Distt. Doda who were carrying 18 bovines on foot to valley without permission.
On this case FIR no. 17/19 U/S 188 RPC 3 PC Act stands registered at this PS.
The arrest was made by Sho P/S Dessa SI Ashok Bazaz under the close supervision of Dysp Hqs Manoj Kumar, Asp Master Popsy Malik and under the able guidance of SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed Malik.
It is pertinent to mention here that Doda police is committed to curb the menace of bovine smuggling in it’s AOR
