RAJOURI, Aug 3: The police has arrested a minibus driver and its conductor who were smuggling a consignment of intoxicant capsules in Nowshera area.
Reports said a police team from Nowshera led by SHO Fareed Ahmed laid a naka at Rajal and during checking, a minibus JK11-9702 was put to frisking. The police found a small poly bag kept hidden inside the document box of the vehicle.
From this poly bag, 300 intoxicant capsules were recovered after which owner-cum-conductor of vehicle Ajay Sharma, son of Krishan Sharma and vehicle driver Sat Dev, son of Tara Chand, both residents of Bagnoti in Nowshera were arrested on the spot.
A case FIR No. 146/2019 U/S 8/21 NDPS has been registered in Nowshera Police Station and further investigation is going on.
