RAJOURI, Aug 3: The police has arrested a man for raping a girl and blackmailing her by taking her naked photographs and threatening to upload in social media.
Reports said that a village from Nowshera area lodged a complaint before police alleging that a man from Paran in Qila Darhal area has raped his daughter and also clicked photographs of her and threatened to circulate the same on social media.
Taking note of it, police took cognizance and registered a case in FIR under relevant sections of law including 376 RPC, 354 C, 109 RPC and 67 IT Act.
A team of police headed by SHO Nowshera, Fareed Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma conducted raid and arrested accused namely, Zulfqar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Razaq, resident Paran Kalakote. The investigation in the case was in progress.
