UDHAMPUR, Aug 14: Fourth annual Kavad Yatra from Gouri Kund to Sudhmahadev was organised by Mahadev Kavad Mandal in collaboration with Aware India Foundation.
A number of devotees of Lord Shiva participated in the Yatra, which started from the temple of Maa Parvati, famously known as Gouri Kund.
All Shiv Bhakts covered the distance on foot without any break and after reaching Sudhmahadev temple, they firstly did Jal Abhishek amidst reciting of Mantras by Pandit Mathur and Pandits of Dharmarth trust. After Jal Abhishek, Rudra Abhishek was performed in the temple.
Vimal Sharma, President of Kavad Mandal and Aware India Foundation informed that the Kavad Mandal has been organizing their Yatra every year with the blessings of Shree Shoul Panishwar Sudhmahadev.
Those who participated in the yatra, include Rajinder Kumar, Pankaj Sharma, Vukundak Sharma, Ashwani Badyal, Naval Thappa, Billo Mathur, Devika, Master Arvind, Raj Kumari, Nisha Thappa, Meenakshi Sharma and others.
