BHADERWAH, Mar 7: The village committees of Bhadarwah Hospital Bachao Front (BHBF) of different villages commenced their turn wise dharna demanding restoration of SSDH in its old complex.
The committee of Sadar Panchayat comprising villages Wazir Kotli, Rainda and Kotli begin the protest dharna under the chairmanship of its patron, Prakash Ram Sharma.
He was joined by other members –Rattan Lal, Varinder Kummar, Suram Chand Sharma, Sardar Kartar Singh, Jeet Singh, Des Raj, Raj Singh Charak and Krishna Devi.
The dharna was marked by slogans demanding immediate restoration of SSDH in its old complex, upgrading of new Hospital on Soura pattern and reviving of medical facilities in villages where the existing dispensaries and sub-centers have become nonfunctional due to lack of Doctors, Pharmacists and nurses.
Showing deep concern over the poor plight of people on health front particularly after shifting of the SSDH from its old complex, Prakash Ram Sharma demanded immediate restoration of work in the old hospital by providing at least streams of Medicines, Gynecology, pediatrics and ten beds on 24 hour basis.
