RAJOURI, Aug 26: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of BSF and a Head Constable were injured in an accidental blast during a routine practice at a camp, here today.
According to SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas, the explosion took place during routine practice and cleaning of ammunition at the BSF camp in Bareri, Nowshera area, resulting in injuries to two of its personnel. The injured were hospitalized.
Rejecting reports of mystery surrounding the incident and the role of militants behind it, the SSP maintained that it was purely accidental and there was no mysterious aspect in the explosion.
