JAMMU, Aug 27: As part of Jammu and Kashmir outreach programme, all stakeholders meeting was convened by Anoo Malhotra, Director- Industries & Commerce, Jammu.
The meeting was chaired by Rajendra Ratnoo, Joint Secretary, Deptt for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Govt of India and attended by Ravinder Kumar, MD SIDCO and senior officials of various departments of the State.
The agenda of the meeting was to take inputs from various departments regarding the industry scenario in the State and to discuss the incentive programs offered by the Centre and the State Government for industry. The idea was to create awareness for the investors and all the stakeholder departments gave their respective inputs on the same.
Ratnoo emphasized on serious commitment of Government of India to boost the industries in the State and also asked all the officials to suggest the projects, which create employment opportunity and are eco-friendly.
Anoo Malhotra informed the stakeholders about the seven components of Industrial Development Scheme (IDS) and stressed to introduce incentive schemes to attract more investments in Jammu and Kashmir.
