JAMMU, Aug 29: Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat will visit Srinagar tomorrow to review security situation and preparedness of security forces to deal with situation in the Kashmir valley.
This will be the Army chief’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after restrictions were imposed in the State on August 5 following revocation of special Constitutional provisions of the State and bifurcation of J&K into two Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh,
Gen Rawat will also review the situation prevailing along the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.
