Warm send off accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Aug 31: Drugs & Food Control Organization accorded a warm farewell to Munish Gupta, Assistant Drugs Controller and Mohan Singh, Chauffer, today on attaining the age of superannuation.
Munish Gupta, Assistant Drugs Controller joined the Department in the year 1989 as Drugs Inspector and served the department in various capacities during his service tenure of 30 years while Mohan Singh, Chauffer Controller, joined the Department in the year 1989 as Driver and served the department for 30 years. Speaking on the occasion, Lotika Khajuria, State Drugs Controller, Poornima Kaboo, Deputy Controller (Legal & Intelligence), Sanjeev Gupta (Deputy Commissioner, Food Safety) and other senior officers of the department wished the retirees happy, healthy and prosperous retired life.
Gurcharan Singh, Deputy Director (Planning), Social Forestry Department, was given a warm and affectionate send off today on his superannuation at an impressive farewell function. Regional Director, Jammu, Social Forestry and others attended the function and wished the retiring officer a cheerful, happy and prosperous life ahead.
The Assistant Director, Food and Supplies and Public Distribution System, Kathua, T P Singh was given a warm farewell by his colleagues in a function held today. Singh retired from the service after after serving the department for 38 years. He has joined the department as Tehsil Supply Officer, Kathua.
A simple but impressive function was held today at District Police Lines Reasi to bid farewell to SI Abdul Kabir who attained superannuation after serving the Police department for 41 years. Rashmi Wazir, SSP Reasi highlighted the contribution of SI Abdul Kabir and wished him a happy and healthy post-retirement life. The function was also attended by Shiv Kumar Singh, Additional SP Reasi, Mumtaz Ali, Deputy SP DAR Reasi, Waseem Mehmood, Deputy SP Headquarters Reasi and other officers/officials.
District Youth Service & Sports Officer, Ashok Kotwal, was accorded a warm farewell on attaining superannuation, here today. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, lauded the role of outgoing officer for his significant contribution towards the department. Speaking on the occasion, outgoing officer shared his experiences about his service career.
Staff and Officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Badri Nath, Section Officer, who retired today after rendering 40 years of service to the Department. Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu, B K Zutshi, speaking on the occasion, wis-hed the retiring officer a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Warm wishes were also extended to other retiring officers and staff of the department namely Ashok Gandotra (Subject Matter Specialist III, Poonch), Hans Raj (SMS III, Pranoo, Doda), Sushma Gupta, Section Officer, Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu, Ajay Kumar (Junior Scientific Assistant) and Chaman Lal, Field Assistant, SDAO Marh.
Service Selection Board, Jammu office today bid a warm farewell to Senior Assistant, Veena Saraf on her superannuation. The officers and officials appreciated the retiree for her dedication during the service and wished her a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
A function was organized at headquarters of IRP 16th battalion, Ramban to bid a warm farewell to Head Cons-table Janak Singh, who proceeded on superannuation from this afternoon. The function was attended by officers/jawans of Battalion. Speaking on the occasion, A K Mahajan (SSP), CO IRP 16th Battalion, wished the retiree a healthy and happy post-retirement life.
