“J&K Bank has always been taking employee welfare measures and keeps on reviewing employee welfare schemes from time to time. It is in this backdrop that the bank introduced schemes like Group Term Life Insurance and Group Accidental Life Insurance in collaboration with insurance companies like PNB MetLife and BAGICL,” he added.
A few days earlier, the CMD had also presented insurance pay-out cheques to the parents of another deceased employee Syed Asif Raza, who had expired after suffering from a fatal accident during active service in the bank.
