Fake documents case

JAMMU, Sept 3: RTO Office Employees Association held protest against arrest of their colleague in the alleged case of preparing fake documents of the stolen vehicles.
Large number of employees of RTO Office Jammu assembled in their office premises, suspended the work and held protest. They raised slogans against the Police Department for arresting their colleague.
As per sources, Senior Assistant of ARTO Office Samba identified as Joginder Kumar Sharma, son of Mani Ram Sharma, a resident of Tehsil Vijaypur, District Samba was arrested in a case registered under FIR Number 121/19 under section 379/420/468//471/34 RPC with Police Station Gandhi Nagar.

Four persons including an agent of the RTO Office Jammu identified as Aftab Ahmed, son of Noor-ul-Din of Srinagar, at present Channi Himmat Jammu stands already arrested in this case. Five stolen vehicles including gypsy of Police Department also stands recovered from the four arrested persons.
While working further in the case on the disclosure of arrested RTO Office agent Aftab Ahmed, a team from Gandhi Nagar Police Station arrested the aforesaid official of the ARTO Office Samba for his alleged involvement in this case, sources said, adding that the arrested official had allegedly authenticated a fake registration certificate, when he was posted in RTO Office Jammu as Senior Assistant, sources added.
As the news about the arrest of the RTO Office employee spread, the employees of RTO Office held protest and demanded release of their arrested colleague.
Later, the employees accompanied by RTO Jammu took up the matter with Transport Commissioner.
