SRINAGAR, Sept 6: Reaching out further to the far flung areas, J&K Bank has commissioned an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Chasana in Reasi district.
Bank’s Zonal Head Jammu (North-II), Anand Pal Singh inaugurated the ATM in the presence of its Reasi Cluster Head, Rajesh Dubey, Tehsildar Chasana, Gulshan Kumar, Inspector Arun Singh Slathia and others.
Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Head said that the installation of ATM at Chasana was a long pending demand of the people of the area.
Reaffirming Bank’s commitment, he said: “J&K Bank is in a mission mode to provide world-class banking services and facilities to the people of the State irrespective of their location and status.”
A handout stated that expansion of ATM network is part of Bank’s plan to facilitate hassle-free and customer-friendly banking services to the public residing in the backward rural areas of the state.
Notably, the ATM at Chasana will facilitate customers in real time besides helping to reduce footfall at the business unit.
With the commissioning of this ATM, the total number of ATMs in the zone has reached 64 including 30 in Reasi district.
