Retired cops demand 15 % job quota for wards

RAJOURI, Sept 6: Retired Police personnel have demanded 15 % job quota for their wards in Police department.
In a meeting of the Retired Police Personnel Forum, district Rajouri held under the chairmanship of Om Parkash Sharma (president), the members discussed the burning issues of the retired policemen. They demanded 15 % job quota for their children in own department, implementation of one rank one pension scheme, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month, free medical treatment to ailing retired policemen and their family members, financial assistance of rupees one lakh on the marriage of their daughters and sanctioning of Rs 50,000 to the retired cops on their death for performing last rites by the family members.
They also submitted a memorandum in this regard to the DGP through SSP Rajouri.
