Pharmacist arrested with over 1000 intoxicant tablets

JAMMU, Sept 6: Peer Mitha Police arrested a pharmacist with over 1000 intoxicant tablets.
As per police sources, on specific information about sale of intoxicant tablets, a team from Peer Mitha Police Station led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali conducted raid at a medical shop in Rajinder Bazaar.
During checking, police team recovered 1007 intoxicant tablets from the possession of the shopkeeper and arrested him.
The arrested shopkeeper has been identified as Ravinder Gupta, son of Vijay Kumar, a resident of Gandhi Nagar.
A case under FIR Number 59/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Peer Mitha and investigation started.
