SAMBA, Sept 6: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Supwal area of Samba today.
According to police, a male person namely Punjab Singh, son of Chet Ram of Kathera district, Kathua at present Supwal, was found dead. He was working in Radhawa Tea Stall, Supwal for last many years. This morning when the owner of the tea stall came on shop and saw him in unconscious condition, he immediately informed the Police Post Supwal. After getting the information police reached on the spot and brought the body to District Hospital Samba for treatment. But doctor declared him as brought dead and the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of District Hospital for autopsy.
After completing the legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for his last rites.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
