KATHUA, Sept 6:- Acting stringently against smuggling of banned Polythene material, a police team headed by SDPO Border Police Kathua along with SHO Police Station, Rajbagh arrested one person for smuggling polythene bags.
He was identified as Rajinder Kumar, S/o Madan Lal of Village Salalpur, Korepunnu, Rajbagh in Kathua district. Police seized 2500 Kilograms of banned Polythene packed in 100 bags which he was carrying in one vehicle bearing Registration No JK08E-8926 .
A case FIR No 168/19 U/S 188 RPC, 6/7/10 J&K Non Biodegradable Material Act,2007 was registered at PS Rajbagh against him.
