JAMMU, Sept 7: Bahu Fort police detained four persons for questioning in robbery case.
As per police sources, businessmen namely Rajinder Pal Gupta and his brother Vinay Kumar Gupta on Thursday night around 10 pm were parking their car outside their house in Sector-4 of Trikuta Nagar when two motorcycle borne youth, intercepted them.
The youth snatched the bag which the businessmen were carrying and escaped from the spot.
The bag contained cash around Rs 10 lakh. The businessmen were followed by the youth from Nehru Market.
A case under FIR Number 248/19 under Section 382 RPC was registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Bahu Fort Police Station obtained the CCTV footage from various areas falling from Nehru Market to Trikuta Nagar. Four persons were detained for questioning in this case.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
