JAMMU, Sept 10: Dr T.R.Raina former Professor Head, Blood Bank Government Medical College Jammu & Deputy President (Motivation) of Indian Society of Blood Transfusion & Immunohaematology (ISBTI) attended 12th Conventions India Conclave (CIC) at Kochi Kerala.
The conference was organised by India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB) in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism Government of India & Department of Tourism Kerala Government as state partner.
It was a South Asia’s premier networking event for buyers and sellers in the Indian Meetings industry.
The conclave was inaugurated by the Minister of tourism Government of Kerala and attended by more than 200 delegates including representatives from Ministry of Tourism Government of India & Kerala Government ,highly professional conference planners, professional exhibition organisers, National & International Associations, hotels & conventions venues, corporate sectors, domestic & International Airlines, travel agents and tour operators from across the country as well as from whole of the globe.
ISBTI is the only NGO amongst the Medical Associations of India which was chosen for this prestigious event on the basis that ISBTI is organising the National Conferences every year since 1970 & Dr Yudhbir Singh as President & Dr T. R. Raina as Dy President of the organization attended the conclave & interacted with the national as well as international representatives and informed them that ISBTI Annual National Conference (TRANSCON- 2021) will be organised at Jammu.
A post conference tour was also organised by the organisers of the conclave where the delegates were taken to the remote villages of Kerala & were apprised how the villagers are involved in the promotion of tourism industry in Kerala.
