Dr Agarwal Hospitals organizes workshop on DNA Gene Therapy

JAMMU, Mar 9: Explaining about the treatment of degenerative diseases through DNA Gene Therapy, Dr Agarwal Hospitals and Gene Research Foundation, Bangalore organized a workshop at Jammu Press Club, here today.
During the workshop, Dr Sunita Rana Aggarwal informed that the Research Foundation    has prevented and treated major degenerative diseases over a span of over 9 years and cured more than 12000 patients.
She claimed that DNA Gene therapy- practiced by Dr Agarwal Hospitals for the last decade, has proved successful in treating most of the common known medical ailments and also rare genetic disorders.  The process involved is minimally invasive, where one drop of the patient’s blood is enough to get his or her DNA profile and is used as the raw stock of giving the patients back their own fetal or healthy DNA, she explained.  This young DNA has the capacity to regenerate any defective DNA sequencing in the body thereby regenerating the diseased organ and removing the ailment in total, she added.
Dr Sunita Rana said that the Gene therapy can be used for a variety of ailments ranging from congenital errors, diabetes, blindness, heart attack, cancer and infections to anti-aging. Degenerative diseases treated by gene therapy, include; Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Atherosclerosis, Neurologial disease, Prostatitis, bone disease, Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease etc, she added.
