JTC, SKF submit memorandum to President of India

JAMMU, Sept 12: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front was held under the leadership of JTC president, Shadi Lal Pandita.
Pandita informed the meeting that JTC and SKF has submitted a memorandum to President of India, Ram Nath Kovind highlighting the demands of the community.
The memorandum demanded permanent rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in three townships in Valley at safer and secular places in erstwhile districts of Anantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla. It also demanded political reservation for Kashmir Pandits, compensation for damaged properties and losses suffered over the years, removal of encroachment from religious places in Kashmir Valley and migrants land and other properties, release of pending ex-gratia relief, launching of on spot recruitment drive in Police Department, creation of 3000 class fourth posts for migrant youth in government departments, filling up of remaining posts under PM’s employment package, enhancement of monthly cash relief from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 and declaration of KPs as minority.
